At Same Day Garage Door, LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality garage door services to our customers in Lima, Ohio and surrounding areas. We strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every service we provide. This refund policy outlines our procedures regarding payments, refunds, and satisfaction guarantees.

Service Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 7 days of service completion. We will schedule a time to inspect the issue and, if necessary, correct any problems related to our workmanship at no additional cost.

Our service satisfaction guarantee covers issues related to the quality of our work. It does not cover:

  • Issues arising from normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
  • Problems caused by modifications made by anyone other than our technicians
  • Damage from accidents, severe weather, or other events beyond our control
  • Issues with manufacturer defects (these may be covered under manufacturer warranty)

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Performed: If we were unable to perform the scheduled service and you have already paid, you will receive a full refund.
  • Double Billing or Overpayment: If you were charged incorrectly or overpaid, we will refund the excess amount promptly.
  • Unsatisfactory Service: If we are unable to correct issues related to our workmanship to your reasonable satisfaction, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.
  • Defective Parts: If a part we installed proves to be defective within the warranty period, we will replace the part at no cost to you. If we cannot replace the part, a refund for the cost of the part may be issued.

Please note that service fees for diagnostics, estimates, or service calls are generally non-refundable once the service has been performed.

Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us by phone at (419) 909-0197 or by email at samedaygaragedoorlima@gmail.com. Please provide the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Date of service
  • Description of the issue
  • Receipt or invoice number
  • Reason for requesting a refund

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund as follows:

  • Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for payment within 5-7 business days.
  • Check Payments: A refund check will be issued and mailed to your address within 10-14 business days.
  • Cash Payments: Cash refunds can be picked up at our office or a check can be mailed to your address.

Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a scheduled service appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. For same-day cancellations or if our technician has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply.

If you have prepaid for a service and cancel with adequate notice, we will refund the full amount. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, we may retain a portion of the payment to cover administrative and scheduling costs.

Parts and Products

New, unused parts and products in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

Custom-ordered parts or special orders are non-refundable unless they are defective.

Manufacturer warranties for parts and products are handled according to the manufacturer's warranty policy. We will assist you in processing warranty claims for parts purchased through us.

Exceptions

In certain situations, exceptions to this refund policy may be made at the discretion of management. We evaluate these situations on a case-by-case basis and strive to find fair and reasonable solutions.
