James Lanham
Owner and Founder, Same Day Garage Door
James Lanham founded Same Day Garage Door in 2010 to give Lima homeowners something that is surprisingly hard to find: a garage door company that answers the phone, shows up the same day, and explains exactly what your door needs.
When you call, you aren't reaching a national call center or a franchise dispatcher. You're dealing with a locally owned business based on West Eureka Street in Lima — and customers regularly mention James by name in their Google reviews for diagnosing the problem clearly, explaining what needs to be done and why, and fixing it without upselling parts they don't need.
That's the standard every job is held to: honest diagnosis, fair pricing, and repairs done right.

Our story
The name is the promise
Same Day Garage Door was founded with a simple mission: to give homeowners in Lima and the surrounding communities reliable, honest and prompt garage door service.
Most repairs are handled the same day you call. Our service vehicles carry the springs, cables, rollers and opener parts that fail most often, so a typical repair is finished in a single visit — and every job starts with a clear explanation of what your door needs.
We're a local business, so our reputation is built one driveway at a time. That's why we'd rather explain what's actually wrong than sell you parts you don't need.
